Farewell Summer 2014

As Summer comes to a close I think back as I peruse our photographic history and think what an amazing summer. Don't get me wrong it was one of the most exhausting as a parent but for my kids it will be one they will not quickly forget. We have been truly blessed to experience all we have.

Disney, Hollywood Studios, Clearwarter Beach Marina, The Gulf of Mexico, watching Kaitlynn and her soccer team take 3rd place in a state soccer tourney, Vacation Bible School, spending the 4th of July in Virginia, three weeks of sports, fine arts and traditional day camp, tubing down the New River in Boone, NC, family weekend and my sister's in OH, Jack and Maddie's Birthday's, Miracle Treat Day, travelling to Southern Pines for an Aberdeen Green Concert, building crafts from Lowes, making shrink dinks, and making cookies in Kaitlynn's easy bake oven. Whew! just typing it all makes me tired.

School has officially started along with Fall soccer and other things trying to find a balance to it all, well I am still working on that.

Thank you to Patti and Joy, Justine, Ed and Isabelle, The Cook Family in VA, Stephanie, Danny and kids, Bacho/Addler/Schmeichel Clan, Amanda, Carly, Jessica and Alex for making it a spectacular few months. Our precious memories are priceless.

Some things I have learned over the Summer are Family is what you make it, Best Friends are FOREVER, even home improvement projects can create LOTS of Laughs, New Friends are CRAZY, Large family events are worth every mile travelled to get there, and no matter how famous you become staying true to who you are makes it all worthwhile.

Happy Fall Y'all

TTFN~
