Thank You

Just wanted to take a minute to bring everyone up to date. First of all Thank You for all of you who called me yesterday. It was very thoughtful that you all remebered my birthday. Thank You Jed!!! that was a great surprise!!!
However Thursday also had it's problems. Jack was not feeling well so I sent him to Becky's instead of school. Becky called shortly after lunch to tell us Jack had a fever of 103. Well due to my inventory preping Phil went to get Jack and took him directly to the Dr. Jack had another ear infection and strep throat. They suggested that we call the ENT Dr. I already know what that meant. We go to the ENT Dr 2/21/08 to discuss when they will put tubes back in Jack's ears and take out his tonsils. Yes he will have to have to have another surgery. Jack's tubes fell out of the canel back in mid Nov. Since they have fallen out he has had 2 ear infections and strep once. But he also had strep back in August. So I am working from home today with Jack he can go back to school monday. It is just so frustrating that he will have to have another surgery before he is three. Will keep you posted once we know more in February. TTFN

Need a Smile

At Christmas time we not only try to see family but we have a few traditions with friends. We always go to Katie's godparent's, Ray and Linda's, house Christmas Day. If we are not here then we do something around New Years. This year Katie and Jack received bath time baskets with great new bath toys and these beautiful towels from them. The kids absolutely love them and it has made bath time tons more fun. I giggle every time we walk from the bathroom to the bedroom to to get dressed. The little pointed hoods are pretty funny from the back. A little something to start the weekend off right. TTFN

midweek funnies

I posted some photos from this past weekend at Grandma Bacho's. I did not have my camera so I used Grandma's. Jack was pretty fired up that day and was ready to play.
I have two quick stories to tell about the kids. The first story is about Katie. As I was creating this web page the end of last week, I brought it up on the computer for the kids to see. They are so fascinated to see themselves on the computer. As I scrolled down so they could not only see their pictures but the "baby in mommy's belly" I went a little too far and Katie saw the photo of Ryan Newman racing Tony Stewart. She says, "Look Mommy! Daddy's favorite TV show!!!" I almost fell out of the chair. It just goes to show you how observant children are.
Then we have Jack's...We were driving home from school today and we were talking about the fact that Grandpa was coming home and that we would have to go visit him. Katie remembered that we almost had to pick up Grandpa at the airport last weekend and asked if we were going to pick him up. I explained that Grandma would take care of it. Well Jack pipes up and says," Are we going to the poptart to pick up B-Pa ( what Jack calls Grandpa). " I almost wrecked the van. It took me ten minutes to explain to Jack that Grandpa wasn't at or on a Poptart but at the airport. By the time we were done all three of us were laughing. Actually what would be cooler is to see B-Pa fly in on a PopTart. TTFN

Slide show

Holy Cow!!! I am smarter than the average bear and figured out how to post a slide show. I will post more recent pictures, this was just a test to see if I could do it. By the way Photobucket is very easy to use. Let me know what you think. TTFN

Jack Jack

Forgot to also tell you that Jack went to the Dr about his ears, a follow up, because he had another ear infection in December. Dr said his ears look really good. Unless we have any further problems he is okay. If Jack does get another ear infection in a short period of time they will consider putting tubes back in. We are hoping that does not have to happen. Baby #3

Went to the Dr today and they did an ultratrasound. When the baby came up on the screen the Dr said the baby was standing on it's head. If you look really close you can see the baby's arms and legs. Well as the Dr was talking about the baby and the really strong heartbeat it has the baby waved at us. It was very cute. The baby is only 3cm long and is right on track for the given due date. TTFN

Trying Something new

Well seeing as this worked so well for Jen I figured I would give it a try. Give me some time to make it look good and be patient with the adding of photos. Wish me luck!!
