Subway Art......

When my brother sees this post he will just laugh. It never fails but I can always find the deal of the century. We were shopping one day and I found the coolest basket and it scanned for a penny. Yes! that was .01. He just shook his head and said, "How do you do that?!" With that in mind I found another cool money saver.

I LOVE Subway Art. Most people look at me like I have two heads when I say it. So I explain it and the light goes on. It looks like this. I don't know what it is or why I like it but everytime I see it I have to check it out. Now that I can make my own and for soooooooo much cheaper, I will just be looking for ideas and not buy someone else's. I'll just make my own.

Then I was perusing Pintrest (my drug of choice) and I found this Birth Announcements in the form of Subway Art..

I had never seen this idea before. So CUTE!! This particular item costs $25.00 each. So I did a little investigating because $75.00 was a little steep for my pockets these days. During my adventures I found all the materials to make these.

So to make all of these cost me $18.00. Not only did I make it for less than the advertised price I made three for less than the price of one. I figured I would hang these above each of the kids' newbon pictures.

One of the many things I have been doing while the kids are on Spring Break.
